Giant Blunderbore the gas guzzling giant is in a terrible rage. He rants and raves and threatens to eat any villager who cannot afford to pay their rent. Poor Dame Trott (Peter Duncan) has to sell her precious cow ‘Buttercup’ and sends her son Jack (Sam Ebenezer) to the cow market to exchange her for gold pieces. He is fooled by the Giant's dogsbody Fleshcreepy (Josh Vantyler) a lying trickster and all he comes back with is a seemingly worthless bag of beans. Jill (Sarah Moss), the daughter of the grumpy Squire of the village (Ian Talbot) is kidnapped by Fleshcreepy who pretends to be a travelling salesman from a far-away land and takes her to the castle in the clouds. Only the Garden Fairy (Nicola Blackman) has the magical powers to turn a useless bag of beans into a powerful force of nature. Jack knows in his heart that he loves Jill and vows to rescue her despite the danger. He is helped by his mother who floats over the garden wall whilst holding on to a large bunch of balloons. In a time when rebellion and chaos is just around the corner will Jack be the hero, climb the beanstalk, rescue his girlfriend and save the world from ecological disaster. Our online planet-saving pantomime is packed with original songs, laughter and great invention.
